John David Ameen

John D. Ameen was born in Rhode Island, graduated from the University of Miami with General University Honors in 1991. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1994. He has been a South Florida community member for over 20 years. John gained valuable insight into how insurance companies defend cases by spending his first years of practice representing various insurance in personal injury, accident and other insurance coverage matters.
Taking Action against Insurance Carriers
John has been at the forefront of insurance class actions, including a case to help individual policyholders against the insurance industry. This case involved the practice of betterment, which was regularly taken by all big insurance companies but not contained in every policy. John has been practicing law since 1994, representing only plaintiffs for over 15 years. In 1998, he became the founding partner of a successful Coral Springs law firm that focused on personal injury, accident, and insurance coverage cases. During his time in Coral Springs, John was twice the recipient of the Best Attorney in Coral Springs award, given annually by the Coral Springs Forum. Today his offices cover multiple cities within Broward and Palm Beach County and include a diverse group of office staff members. He is a highly respected trial attorney with over 20 years of experience who prides himself on being available and approachable to all of his clients. He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients over the past years.
